Americans from Both sides of the Aisle Support the DREAM Act

This weekend, former Secretary of State General Colin Powell urged Congress to support the DREAM Act.  You can see that video here.

DeeDee Blase, the Founder of Somos Republicanos, sent a letter to Senate Majority Leader Reid in support of adding the DREAM act as an amendment to the Department of Defense bill.  A portion of her letter said:

Military experts agree that the DREAM Act promises to enlarge dramatically the pool of highly qualified recruits for the United States Armed Forces and the Department of Defense has expressed support for the DREAM Act since the Bush administration.
